TLS by Design

TLS stands for Total LifeStyle.  Since 2002, a family-run business delivering quality hardwood casegoods and USA-made upholstery, TLS maintains a focus on providing superior customer service.  TLS products are found in higher-end properties around the world, from residential applications to upscale boutique hotels.  TLS by Design was the furniture sponsor for the Season Six Finale of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" where more than $40,000 of tables and upholstery were donated to the worthy casue.  TLS designed and built 13 pieces of upholstery within 72 hours for the show.

From the start, TLS strived to deliver superior value to our clients.  Our casegoods are original designs meant to capture the one-of-a-kind feeling one would expect to find in an artisan’s loft workshop but at a more affordable price point.   We use only the finest materials.  All of products are made of hardwood which has been kiln-dried to 6-8% moisture content assuring upholstery frames and casegoods will not crack or warp, regardless of the climate or season.

TLS upholstery is all benchmade in the Indiana.  TLS has a commitment to the environment and uses 15% soy in our seat cushions as well as we use recycled metal in our springs.  Our trademarked ModuCoil Suspension for the Upholstery is an industry standard, offering similar construction and seating “feel” as 8 Way Hand-Tied, but with improved quality offering a longer useful product life.
